Fresh baked goods and meat 1/19/2012

Whoever says the meat isn't fresh here is an idiot who clearly doesn't know anything! I am a chef an I buy all my meat for catering jobs at grillos for a great "bulk" price. I have not once in 15 years had a complaint from one of my customers. I'm sure if someone has had a bad experience at grillos they should say something to one of the managers, Angelina frank or Mary. Instead of complaining on the Internet. We need to start supporting the local businesses and stop complaining! Just take it back and get ur money back. The food there is fresh and I've been a happy and loyal customer for 15+ years more

Cheat & Fraud 4/2/2011

DO Not Buy the Meat , he buys older stuff from his supplier and a lot of it is slimy, he does not care about the customer and only wants your money. He is a cheat too , he sells you name brand prices but behind the counter takes labels off and puts lesser brands in the bag , but still charges you top dollar. Most of the "Homemade" items are bought elsewhere and repackaged with his name. He is a dirty cheat and fraud the community should not shop there !!! more

ALWAYS FRESH MEATS 3/18/2006

Grillos reminds me of a tiny farmers market always with fresh meats and cheeses at the deli. I try to check the area papers for specials before going. They usually have great sales but their other groceries run a little higher. They have a lot of Italian spices, pastas, bread and the like. My grandmother would have loved this little market. It smells so delicious when you enter their doors. There is a gorgeous mural on the side of their building to let you know that you have arrived. more

Nice Little Deli 11/6/2005

Grillo's International Market Place is a great little neighborhood deli. They have a wide variety of both popular and hard to find meats and cheeses. Everything is cut fresh to order, so you aren't getting slices of cheese that are 10 hours old. The customer service is great. Everyone that I have dealt with there has been very friendly and helpful. more
