After reading ALL of the rave reviews and a friend personally recommending this place, I went ahead and decided to bring my dog to Greywood kennels. I called a week ahead and spoke to Mary and she was so nice and the place sounded great. I've never kenneled my dogs before, but my girl has separation anxiety and wasn't able to ask my family at the time, to watch her. As I was inside filling out the paperwork, my fiance was outside, waiting for me. There was a woman in the outside area where other dogs are free to roam. They were barking and she kept yelling at them to stop. They weren't. When I came outside, my fiance asked if I asked if it was normal practice for them to kick their dogs when they didn't stop barking when told to do so...yes, she had kicked the dog!! So I stormed inside and asked the 'helper' behind the desk and told her I wanted to talk to Mary or whoever was in charge. I was told by the helper that the dog that was kicked by that woman was her own dog (and that seems to make it ok?) and she did work at the facility. When Mary came out, she asked how she could help me, but before I could speak, said it has never happened, would never happen again, it's her own dog, I had nothing to worry about, on and on, everything she thought I wanted to hear. I was told I could call and check on my dog over the weekend if it would make me feel better...like I would believe what they told me? As I was leaving that place, I saw Mary pull that girl from outside, into the house...hopefully it was to fire her!
