The economy is on it's way up again....But travel bookings from the U.S. is still relatively low. When no one was booking travel...the airlines reduced air service so much that the demand was still higher than the supply...so prices did NOT go down. But now with the major airlines gearing up for more deman...the supply is greater than the demand (at least for the moment)....And you know what that means: GREAT DEALS to lots of GREAT PLACES for Summer 2013! Even Charter Air companies out of Atlanta to the Caribbean are having a hard time filling all their seats. Watch for deals like $699 per person for Airfare, 7 nights in a 4 Star Beachfront All Inclusive resort (not a hotel) but they will only last thru the 1st week of August and then they are all gone. This year, Cruising is NOT the best way to go. With the Carnival nightmares that have ensued, many of their ships have been put in dry dock to be refurbished (inside and out) whilst lines like Royal Caribbean have many new mega-ships that are staying sold out. Meaning? Prices are high and quality is down.\r
Europe is on the rise and that means prices will be too \r
in the latter Fall 2013 or Winter 2014. Until then, there are some great airfares in large 'hub' airports and chain hotels are really making deals....This may not be the best year to stay in a small Inn and opt for the more commercial chain...And spend the savings on horseback riding in Umbria or Truffle hunting with wine in Tuscany.... Wherever your path takes you ....We can help you make it a real Destination!
