Yesterday I made an appointment for a manicure and pedicure at Grettacole's Atrium location at 11;45 (my first time there, expecting a high-end experience). It was a super-busy day for me, so I asked specifically about how long the appointment would take and if drying time was included. I rushed to get there at 11:45 only to be told that the person who would do the work was on her way back from an on-site and wouldn't be there for at least 15 minutes (she was ""coming from Boston"" so that sounded like an optimistic estimate). When I said that the delay was a problem, I was told that's the way they schedule, a 1.5 hour window to allow for that kind of thing. That delay meant the rest of my day would be messed up and I said I couldn't stay. I barely got an apology.
I swore that with customer service like that I'd never try them again and I wrote the first version of this review, with a 1-star rating.
Well, this morning I got a call from the manager, who apologized sincerely and has offered me the same services at no cost to make up for the inconvenience and poor customer service. While I'm not sure how soon I will be able to take her up on it, I really appreciate the offer and plan to go back as soon as I can. Thus, the 3-star rating I just gave them. (I'll report back after my visit.)
