Greg's Tree Svc Inc

Greg did work for me and many of my neighbors. He did a Fabulous job. He and his workers are very professional, hard working and nice. They cleaned up well. He has the best price in town. I would recommend him to anyone and will probably have him do more work for me, family and friends. more

After having 7 tree companies come to my home for an estimate, I decided to go with Greg's tree service. They were NOT the cheapest or the most expensive. I had Greg out for 2 different estimates, the final to cut down the whole tree. He asked if I was keeping the wood. I said ""why is it cheaper?"" Greg said ""yes."" Unfortunately, I don't have a fireplace and didn't know anyone to take the wood. I agreed for them to take it, which means I was being charged for them to remove the wood. The day of, the wood was left, as a neighbor asked to have it. Yet, I am still being charged for the haul away. Greg has refused to take off anything from the cost because ""it's what they do, it's cheaper for them to chip and haul away the wood then to leave it and cut it up."" Well, that means he is a liar...as I was told during my estimate ""it's cheaper for me if they leave the wood."" I have filed a complaint with the BBB, to which Greg's Tree Service has not responded. I have not paid them, nor do I plan to. They left my yard a mess and crap all over my neighbor's. While they were on my street they were asked for estimates by my neighbor's, I have since advised them to go with another company. I advise you to do the same, Greg's Tree Service is nothing but a hassle, who tells you one thing, then acts like it never happened. Your money is better spent with another company. I give them one star because I have to choose something and that star goes to the guys that work for the company. more

i appreciated the cheap estimate but it is worthless when times and dates are made and appointmenbts not kept. i do not need to chase someone to pay a fee. if a company gives a quote, time, date, etc... they should be professional enough to keep the promises made, or at the very least return a call from a client to pay them for services. i went to the company w/ a fee of 150.00 more, because this company does not have the decency to even call back. i suppose at two weeks, no returned calls, they aren't coming. would rather pay more than risk the type of job this unprofessional company would most likely provide. 2 thumbs down. they were here in a minute toi give the estimate, then when you need them, (when they agreed to show up) you can't find them or even get an answered telephone. answering machine sounds like he's working out of his mother's basement anyway..... more
