greenes hamburgers 5/15/2010

After moving to Miami in 1994, I can tell you that Greenes is probably what I miss most. Awesome sliders, like no where else. Almost worth a plane ride.....now theres a thought!\r I completely agree with gormie2k1, you don't go to greenes for turkey burgers or a salad (thank god). You don't worry about a white glove inspection or a USDA certificate once you bite a Greenes slider there is no going back. My ex took me there once years ago, and I am still thankful...... Pros: food Cons: only one location left more

The Best Burgers...Period 5/23/2009

I am writing this to refute all the dumb stuff people are saying about this restaurant. Eniac325ix is obviously a moron. IT IS A HAMBURGER place you retard, you go to this restaurant to chow down on some greasy burgers, not to get something healthy. I'm not going to even dignify Marcie123's comment with much of a response. BAD MEAT?!!?!?! I think you have a BAD brain. Maybe if you weren't so arrogant the friendly staff at Greene's wouldn't have to put you in your place. Bottom line, if you are in the mood for a greasy, deliciously unhealthy burger or order of onion rings, this is the only place to go. Pros: The Best Burgers in Town Cons: Staff does not take kindly to stupidity and arrogance! more

HORROR HOUSE 9/17/2008

Good customer service, good looking girls, great slider, metal counters, fries and a shake 8/26/2008

This place has been the same forever. Girls wait on you quickly. It ain't the Whitney. It's Greene's. Best late night burgers anywhere, Knock out the order, wait shortly, be patient, and chow down. The best. Great rings too. Pros: Still great prices for a late night sack of snack attack Cons: None, it just ain't the Whitney more

My dog would not eat this food. 2/5/2008

I went here the other day for the first time. I ordered 2 double cheeseburgers from the limited menu. The only size drink they offer is a small 12oz size. One drink was barely enough to choke down the fat in even one of those burgers. The double cheeseburgers came with grilled onions, pickles, cheese and somewhere in between the two pieces of bread was something they called meat. The grilled onions tasted like rubber worms so naturally I picked those off with the slim hope of turning it into something edible. To my lessening surpise, when I pulled the top bun off I could see the botton bun. They were so thin I guess they used the grilled onions to hold the ""meat"" together. \r \r Do not go here, I would have saved money and had a better meal had I thrown up my McDonalds breakfast I had earlier and ate that. more

Not Good 2/5/2008

I visited this small restaurant recently, I have eaten at many small burger joints before. The burgers were, among other things, very small. What concerned me most was not only the lack of meat, but it tasted like it wasnt properly cooked or refigerated; and that is my biggest concern for people wandering by who might stop in as i did. I went with someone, who agreed that it was probably the worst prepared food he'd ever tasted. I would have to agree, the food can almost be catagorized as not eatable, although i didnt get sick which is a surpise. more

MICHIGAN LOVES SLIDERS!! 1/15/2008

Greene's is your traditional slider joint. Complete with 50's style poor man's burger shack facade and two old dude's at the end of the counter smoking up a storm. I love it. Everything you want in a greasy burger, w/grilled onions, mustard/ketchup, and pickle. To say these burgers are like white castle is far from accurate. Greene's like Tel-way or Geneva's are unique establishments where you can still find a great little burger for a great little price. worth the trip. Pros: classic sliders. friendly service. Cons: the next morning!!! more

Great after hours burger stop 11/20/2007

I love going there late on Saturday night. My usual is two doubles ""with"" (onions), an order of fries burnt, a coke, and Patsy Cline on the juke box. Pros: Great Burgers and Ambience more

Hamburgers 5/23/2004

I have been eating at Greene's for 30 years. Burgers are served with grilled onions, pickel, mustard and ketchup.........Mmmmmmmm! Try the double and triple cheeseburgers with fries. Open 24 hours a day for a tasty midnight snack. I crave these burgers and will have to go get my fix. Pros: Burgers, Value, Open 24 hours more

Greene's has been a part of Farmington Hills for so long and their sliders are the best! Although they might not be so healthy for you, but hey is anything really good ever good for you? Whether its sit down you want or to go your needs will be met here. more
