Green Trails Mobil Svc

I wanted a second opinion for my 17y.o.son, who is from Omaha, and is visiting my sister who lives in Chesterfield. And Russ diagnosed an air conditioning problem for $0.00! I had already paid $42.95 to Firestone the day before. Russ told me that Firestone had put a part number on my estimate that didn't exist. However, both repair shops recommended the same basic repair, but Greentrails Mobil 1 was $100 less because they didn't charge a diagnostic fee and labor and parts came in at $60 less. This is an ""Old School"" joint and it is really one of the greatest ""Fix"" whatever shops around. Steve is gone now, he was a very good guy, still the staff and Frank are amazing, they really do too much for their customers. It's a blessing and a curse. They will drop everything for a sudden stranded soul. Fix whatever, right then and there and have you on your way. We had a friend with kind of a junky car have a flat with no spare on cold winter eve. Since the tire was beyond repair they said they had an old one that would work. Took the old tire off and mounted an old but very serviceable tire. When I went to pay they said don't worry about it we were going to throw that tire away. Still, I asked what I owed for the mount, the response was ""don't worry about it brother""??? Now some big jobs that they say will be done by tomorrow, well lets just say sometimes tomorrow don't come so quick. Still they will do cars, lawn mowers, bicycles and my motor scooter. I actually hope none of you folks will use this place, Frank and his gang are always busy and all seem to do 12 hour days but they only have 3 bays so for me I don't want anymore people coming. I think we need to pass a law that ONLY Green Trails residents can be served. Oh, ya toot your horn at the pump and they will fill your car check your tires and do your windshield. Very few of the regulars do this, however, for my 84 year old mother, well it's just an amazing place, too good to be true. So stay away ... more

They are old school mom and pop gas station. Great service great price!!!!! We need more people like Frank and his employee's they are all GREAT. They truly do care about there customers. more

I don't usually write reviews - But am SO IMPRESSED with Green Trails Mobil - and Steve Monti. I actually have a brother who is a mechanic - he has always taken care of my cars and I have never had to think twice about what he says I need or how it's done. But since moving to Chesterfield, it is logistically impractical to have my brother work on my car - and my brother has stressed the importance of finding someone close by who knows what they are doing and that I can trust. Steve did a great job, took his time to tell me what was going on with my car, and even told me that I did not have repairs that I thought I would need!! What could have been very stressful turned out to be a situation that made my day. I know my brother (the mechanic) would approve. more

Frank and his team are the best in the business. Not only do they do a great job at an affordable price, but they always take care of the customer after the sale. Cons: Kind and Friendly Service That People Can Afford and Trust more

My car had ""check engine light on"" recently. I took the car to this shop, and they looked/scanned the car and detected that the problem was caused by some leak in a pipe somewhere. It turned out that a pipe connection fell off. they reconnected the pipe and did not charge me. I believe the mechanics' name is Brian. Thanks Brian and Steve. more
