Green Trails Apartments

The buildings are poorly built. The windows can't keep the cold out in the winter. Make sure you own a space heater. We had ants everywhere and constantly caught mice downstairs. The maintenance is poor, the "heated" pool is never heated, the equipment in the gym never works, the cable/internet connection is the worst, and get ready for a big bill in the mail after you finally move out of this place. more

Good: location. Bad: everything else....building doesn't hold heat. Ice was building on windows. Furnace was 20 years old. they weren't willing to replace. ant and wasp infestation. dryer started on fire. management was unhelpful.. Improvements: Stop advertising newly renovated and actually make the thing livible in the winter time. Ice cold all winter with furnace running constantly and set at 78 degrees.. Other: Worst experience of my life living in this place. My wife and I couldn't wait to get out of here. We are now free and seem to be happy again. I hate this place and all we had to deal with.. more

This apartment complex gets its name from the extensive nearby walking trails that wind all around the lakes, houses and fields of a large housing subdivision. This offers a very nice area to job or walk throughout the year, as the trails are very well maintained. The apartments are well equipped with in-unit laundry and a porch or patio. Some have extra bathrooms, fireplaces and window seats. Conveniently located within a 5 minute drive of downtown Naperville and Benedictine University. more

Green Trails Apartments is conveniently located near Benedictine University, right off Maple Avenue. The apartment complex ranges from one bedroom units to two-story, two bedroom town homes. Washers/dryers in unit, fireplaces, and window seats make for a warm, inviting atmosphere for renters. The complex has a seasonally-operational outdoor pool, and a 24-hour access indoor workout room, sauna, and hot tub. The upstairs clubhouse features breakfast three times a week and numerous resident events, including a pig roast, resident appreciation week, and my favorite, Oktoberfest. Rent isn't too bad, although I'm sure you can find cheaper units nearby. Maintenance is quick, and the rental agents are friendly and very helpful with your needs. Overall, it's a great place to call home. more
