I own a semi-new restaurant in NY. I'd have to say the one pocket ""emptier"" would be our electricity bill. We opened up about a year ago. There's a steady flow of customers, but the bill seems to still hurt our profit. Over a casual conversation with a good friend in Jersey, they suggested I look into ""Green Power Factor.."", as he is an owner of a hole-in-the-wall restaurant himself. The past three months after installation, proves a drop of around 15% in the electricity bill. Curious as I am, I sat down and did the math for the rest of 2010. I can now relax as the profit we make will no longer be wasted!! In addition, we're making plans to expand our restaurant with the savings!
