Very clean international market 1/3/2012

I really like this market. They carry wide selection of items at best prices around. They also have a bakery onsite where they bake fresh bread, and also have Pastries by Edie; I used to order it for special occasions either directly from Edie, or bought it at Bristol Farms. Now, I can buy it at almost 40% discount from Valley Green! This market way better and cleaner than some of the other older markets around in this area. I wouldn't shop anywhere else if you live and shop close by. more

Great Local Food Market - Zankou Chicken coming soon! 12/25/2011

Very clean market, anything you may need you can find here. Probably the nicest looking marking in the entire SF Valley. I was going to Albertsons across the street, but this market's prices are less, and variety is greater, and the products are fresher. Also, they carry Pastries by Edie in their Bakery - really delicious stuff if you're into sweet stuff. Also, love their freshly baked Sangag bread baked on premises. I give this market 2 thumbs up!! P.S. noticed a banner in their kitchen department that Zankou Chicken is coming soon. I used to go to their Tarzana location on Ventura Blvd., but soon I'll be able to walk to the market and get my favorite shewarmas and kebabs. more

Terrific international market 12/16/2011

Great new international market. Fresh kosher meat, fish, produce, bakery. Really nice; almost doesn't belong in this area. Looks like an upscale market from the Westside. I was blown away by the variety, quality and prices. Prices are probably half of what they are in the large chain supermarkets. Also, I thought they had Mediterranean kitchen operating at the premises, but I was told that instead Zankou Chicken is coming to the store in January. This is going to be a truly one-stop shop. more

Really amazing ethnic market 12/13/2011

I really like this ethnic market. Lots to choose from, super fresh and tasty. Great prices compared to competition. I tried it before about 5 months ago, and it wasn't anything special, especially as far as variety was concerned. Recently, new owners took over and they definitely know what they are doing. Great job!!! Much more to choose from; they also brought unique items you won't find anywhere else in conventional supermarkets - seem to cater to Persian, Armenian and Russian customers. Fresh Sangag bread baked onsite. From now on, I will only shop here. Compared to other older markets, this one is the most pleasant to shop. more

Awesome market; a better alternative to other local markets 12/13/2011

This is an awesome market. Fresh produce, meats, deli and baked goods. Best prices too. Totally brand new market, really pleasant to shop in, compared to anything else within miles away; looks, feels and tastes like an upscale gourmet market, without the price tag usually associated with markets of that caliber. Also heard that Zankou Chicken (www.zankouchick...) is coming to the premises in January 2012. Can't wait to come and eat there. Mouth-watering shawarmas, kebabs, etc. Yummy..... Oh, did I mention friendly and knowledgeable staff too? more
