Green Level Kennel

We have been taking our Mr. Fursuit to Green Level for about a year now... It really is the best kept secret in Wake County. They are always friendly and very accomodating. The kennel is spotless and I like the fact that you can tour it without any previous notice, unlike other kennels we have tried, that have certain hours for touring. The owners also live on the premisis, so there is always someone close by if there is an emergency. I can't say enough good things about them!!!! I have 2 very large dogs, one of which only a mother could love, if you know what I mean...they are so good to them BOTH! Prices are very competitive and clearly spelled out. They never try and sell you up either. Just friendly, caring people who must really enjoy what they do. I love that you are welcome to tour the kennel and see where your dog(s) will be sleeping. One of the few places that lets you bring toys/beds from home. Plus I love that mine can room together in a double-wide...makes it easier on them. Thanks GLK, we love you!!! We have used Green Level Kennels for two or three years now and wouldn't think of taking our dogs else where. The dogs are always treated with excellent care. The kennel personnel take the time to care for our dogs as we would. The only down side is our dogs love to go there!! Overall just a great place. Pros: Caring staff takes care of animals more

I have tried a few kennels since moving to Cary from a large city. I am very particular, as I have an older dog who is very shy and can be fragile. I found the kennels to be clean and the staff to be very friendly. I also liked that my dog, who loves the outdoors, was able to be outside for 1.5 hours each day without an extra charge. Most places charge the about same amount just to board plus additional fees if you want "puppy playtime." Every staff member I spoke to by phone and when I picked up my dog knew her by name after only one day. They were able to give reports on how she was doing and even told me about a few of her quirky habits, like nosing through her food bowl when she eats. Upon departure, she seemed happy and did not smell at all, even thought I did not have her bathed. Based onthe cleanliness, firendliness and overall care at this kennel, I would recommend it highly! It's taken us 3 years to find an acceptable kennel in the Triangle area and we are VERY selective. Most places charge more than the Hilton does for Donald Trump, or they drop your pet in the kennel and forget about them until you return, giving only minimal attention. Green Level has friendly staff, very attentive to our dog and his 'special needs', they are caring and kind and exhibit sincere concern for the animals they board. Their rates are very reasonable, too. The facilities are older than most so they are not "spa-like" if you want yours pampered, but they do a great job at keeping them clean and comfortable. We have used Green Level for over 4 years now and they have provided our baby with wonderful care. They have a great staff who takes time to play with and love all the animals left in their care. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing a good kennel. Pros: Good Prices, Playtime more
