IMO the best little Chinese restaurant in Jax! 3/26/2009

It seems that little Chinese restaurants with great lunch special prices are all over Jacksonville. Most of them would get a 2-star rating from me. They're okay if you really have a Chinese food craving, but otherwise? No thanks. Green Lake is an exception. Their food is always fresh and excellent, and the portions are plenty. Their lunch specials are $1 or so more expensive than, say, Takee Outee, but it is SO WORTH IT, even in this economy. The service has always been quick, and once when we ate in we were given a free order of crabmeat rangoons just because! That's customer service, if you ask me. This is my go-to Chinese restaurant in Jax! more

Great Chinese 12/13/2006

Chinese usually takes a back seat to all of my asian favorites. It never seems fresh. Not true at Green lake the place is very small so I recommend take out. Everthing is fresh. Looks like a typical Chinese take out but I think you'll taste the difference. more

Chinese Food 10/16/2005

This Place has great customer service. They are always polite. If you like Chinese Food this is the place to go. I have ordered from them many times and the food is excellent. The food is always ready within 15 min. So just call in your order and by the time you get there it will be ready for pick up. Well that has always been my experience and we order a lot of different foods. more
