Green Iguana Bar & Grill

Went to this location tonight expecting a nice meal with my fiance and family only to be seated in a section with a server who could not even complete an easy order. Salads came out with the entree, waiter took 20 minutes to refill drink glasses. Food came out cold. When complaining to the manager, he simply looked like he rolled out of bed and went to work. NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL! He ploped down in his char and rolled his eyes when we told him that the waiter was not attending our table properly. Then he went on to mock us about our complaint and then said and I quote ""I don't have time for this"" and got up and left. When telling the waiter that we refused to pay for the meals that came out cold, she looked at us and asked us if we were serious. The sad part is that the food was great, however with the horrendous service I can not say that I will ever go back to this Green Iguana. I hope that you take my advice and avoid this at all costs. more

these guys that work here got real big heads they think they are the shit.... they are the most rude bunch of bouncers i have ever seen and ive been everywhere! the manager is just as bad if not wrose... this would be a great place if they got rid of them Pros: nice place, cheap drinks Cons: bouncers and management a$$holes!!! more

I went there a couple of times with my husband, and as good money safers as we are, we try to go before we have to pay. The last time we have friends from out of town and we decided to go there. The host from there told us they would not charge until 10:30pm, so at 9:50 we got there and this big guy (from the radio that was having the party there) as soon as he saw our group of friends he ran into us and he yelled at us, it's $15 each men, and after he look at me head to toes he said: ok, you can go for free! What we did? We drove all the way to St. Pete Green Iguana where the place is better, the staff is much nicer and we did not have to pay for the same party! Decent food, but the place had that ""old bar smell"" - you know that rotten stench that bars tend to carry. Maybe it's because I went on a Sunday AM - nonetheless, bad stench... Pros: Food more

I went here with my boyfriend and his mother for dinner one night. My ""mother-in-law"" being a well off lady ordered the most expensive appetizer, salad, drinks, and dinner on the menu. I kid you not, we did not get any food for 2 1/2 hours. We kept asking the waitress and she only had the snarky response of ""we have togo orders to do first."" After we got our dinner we had no salad or appetizers yet. We asked for them and our waitress said ""Oh are these yours, my bad."" Everything was cold and dry like it had been left out. We asked for the manager but she said there ""wasn't one"" so we just paid the bill (no tip) of $180 and tried to leave. The waitress then chased my boyfriend out into the parking lot and assaulted him demanding her tip. She lucky it wasn't me or I would have filed charges! NEVER AGAIN! I love the food here but rarely go even though it is close. I use to go often but their valet staff leaves alot to be desired. They have togo parking but the valet uses it to park the expensive cars so getting one is by luck. The valet drivers have had so many accidents with those cars and the management staff is quick to cover them up. It use to be a joke among most people I know ""Don't let them park your car unless you can afford to fix it"". That didn't seem so funny when my friend and I called ahead to order food. When we got there the valet staff tryed to force us to let them have the car before allowing us to move to the togo and wait for our food. Then while waiting in our parking spot her car was struck by another patrons car being driven by the valet. Wow I will never forget how they treated her. They told the owner of the other car that she struck them and that each party will need to take up the issue with their own insurance company. Then the manager came out and stated that he saw my friend back out into the car being driven by the valet while another valet driver went and sat in the passenger seat and then told the officer that he was in the car during the accident and of course stated my friend backed into the other car and then pulled back into the parking space. Needless to say we don't ever look forward to going there anymore. We did go back once but we parked by the movie theater and walked so the car wouldn't be in direct contact with the valet. I wish this was an isolated case but unfortunately many times prior we had stood on the outside patio having drinks laughing at the idiots who let the valet drive their car while we could see at least one accident a night by them. For some strange reason we thought our cars were safe because we were driving them. more
