Love the food. My son wants to come every year for his birthday. Although every year its more expensive more

Disappointed 5/31/2010

I was very disappointed at the restaurant, because the buffet table was very small and didn't offer enough choices. The meat was ok, but it was too dry and didn't offer enough selection. For $30, it overprice and I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone. Stay away from this restaurant. Cons: Food selection, Meat is dry, overpriced more

AVOID it!!!!! 8/1/2008

I am brazilian and I never had a worse experience. I went there Friday night with my wife and the place was empty. I have been to terrible brazilian steakhouses before such as ""Rei do gado"" in San Diego, ""Amazon"" in Anaheim, and ""Master Grill"" in Queens, NY, but this one was the WORST!!!! The meat was horrible! There wasn't a great variety of meat for a steakhouse. The sausage looked like a hot dog sausage. The ""picanha"" which is our most popular meat came to our table only once and raw. The buffet was limited and the service was disgusting. The meat runner's knife was not sharp seeing him trying to cut the meat in front of me was scary. After 15 minutes eating this garbage we had to pay $60. I should have gone to Burger King instead. Cons: Meat more

Quite disappointing 7/29/2007

Went there on a Saturday night. Very packed by 6PM, valet parking was good. Went in with a group of 10+ with reservations, seated promptly. As our group went to look around the buffet bar, there was nothing special; probably a waste of stomach space to be eating up that stuff. The waiter came by and started serving us meats. After about an hour, I went to get a cleaner plate and some onion rings, they stopped serving us!\r I had to flag down the waiter to give us more meats. And each time he came around he just neglected our group, I mean with drinks and everything our group had a bill $500+ I would expect them to serve us food until we stop.\r Quite disappointed and will not go there again. more

so-so food, even for the price, valets are theives. 6/22/2007

We went on a weekday. The food are on about par if not below. The side buffet dishes are hit-and-miss. The best meat was the chicken but when we had our second skewer, it did not taste as good, it was pretty burned up. So I would say the quality of food was inconsistent.\r \r Now, the service is just horrible. We had to ask the waiter to bring us bread, wasn't served up at all. Even worst, the meat server was rushing and made splatters to our shirts (for the record, he did bring over club soda and napkin for us to ""self clean"") What got me was the valet parking, I discover I had about 3 dollar worth of quarters stolen! I was driving to another place for desert and needed quarters for the meter, only to discover them missing. Now I know I have them because I just used it about one hour before going there. \r \r I will NEVER return. Pros: cheap for brazillian buffet. Cons: horrible service, missing money from valeted car... more

Really good food, value and fun! 5/24/2007

Go there hungry! I really enjoyed this place and I am looking forward to eating some more steak! Highly recommended Pros: Lots of very good and fresh food. Good value especially if you eat a lot! Cons: I found the drinks and wine to be a tad expensive. more

Fun, crowed place with lot's of meat...can be good or miss place depending on the night. 5/21/2007

I've been to this location more then just a couple of times and each time I had alot of fun. Beside the good company I went there with, the atomsphere is fun and no one really bothers you. I love the decor it makes the dining experience here fun.\r Food...like I said it is a good place or miss. There are some really nice and good cut of meat and used to have alot more varities in the pass. But the last few times I went here some of the meats are very tough or salty or chor and over cooked. It got to a point where I have to take a really good look before letting the waiter cut a piece for me. Just few years back there were so many different types of meats to choose from, even some game meats which I think what made me comes back time after time. I meant I can go just anywhere and have a good piece of beef or chicken or pork. Now is like just 2 or 3 different steaks, turkey, sausages, chicken. Just got every boring. My friends and I used to just eat their meat and don't even bother with the salad bar or the buffet bar. But now we have to b/c the choices are so limited. \r I wish they will start revisit their choices of meats again and watch how they prepare and cook the meat. B/c I would hate to go back there again with like 10 to 12 people and get disappointed again.\r I can't be honest to myself if I say I can recommend this place right now unless they change back to what they were before which was great and nothing was wrong with it. If its not broken, don't fix it. Pros: atomsphere Cons: food (used to be good) more

Fun churrascaria at a reasonable price! 1/19/2007

We came out here looking for an affordable alternative to Plataforma, and we were not disappointed! The atmosphere is slightly cheesy, but hey, with this much meat, who cares! We were pleased with the variety of meats and the quality of most of what we tasted (with the exception of the turkey spam, ugh). I also found that the servers were more than willing to bring back something you really liked or bring a rarer/more well done cut of something if you asked. We focused on the meat, so I can't comment on the quality of the food on the hot buffet, but it looked passable and the salad bar was just fine. One nice touch was the wheel of Parmigiano-Reggiano - they hacked hunks of it off so you could grab as much as you liked - it was a perfect substitute for dessert! No, the food isn't as good as Plataforma, but it's half the price and just as much fun! Pros: Price, quantity, MEAT Cons: Far from 111 stop on 7 train more

Go for the experience. 1/6/2007

Fun for the churrascaria experience. I prefer Master Grill. I would recommend visting both for the variety. While eating, I rated each item on a scale of 1 to 10, 7 or 8 is what I consider something good I would be happy to receive as an entree. *Roast beef, tough. 3, did not finish. *Roast beef later, red cut, much better taste and texture, 6 *Ribeye, tender 5 *Salmon, excellent, 7 *Ribs from bar, salty, good, 7 *Pork loin, great spice and texture, 8 *Pork saugage , typical cheap saugage, could not eat it, 3 *Turkey spam with fatty bacon, yuck, tasted for the sake of science, 1 *Lamb kabob, relatively tendor, good taste, 8 *Beef kakbob, tough but great flavor, 6 *Beef tendorloin, partly tendor, 7 *Beef skirt steak. Very tendor, best meat choice, 10 *Chicken, chinese 5 dollar buffet, fatty grey oily chicken, 1. Chicken is so cheap and spices are so numerous. Why make bad chicken? *Salad bar, more than enough good choices, most items did not interest me. I had artichoke hearts, baby greens, mushrooms, halveta cheese. These were all great.\r I skipped ricey cheap sushi, misc fillers not interestingly prepared. *Sirloin steak, red portion good. Relatively.flavorless, 5 *Oxtail from bar, uninteresting, 4 *Red wine, shiraz is good, full, no hint of negative finish. High alcoholflavor. *Finished dinner with a large serving of skirt steak. I looked at the dessert cart, but they have no understanding of chocolate love One chocolate mix cake with (yuck) white with frosting. So easy to make one great chocolate dessert. Dumb to miss that one. *Coffee is very good. I am pickier about coffee than any food. Drinking it says enough. This is not 5 star, but temperature is just right. Strength is perfect to satisfy a range of preferences, flavor is very good. Looking for any negative aftertaste using a wine tasting technique, I could only spot the slightest indication that it was on a heater a couple extre minutes. Only 1.50 for coffee. Great deal. Pros: A fun experience and chance to try some great protein. Cons: Not very healthy, Lots of tough meats. more

The Best Brazillian BBQ I ever was at. I Love eating out 9/5/2006

The Valet parking is a nice start. The Hostess was friendly. The Wait staff was attentive & friendly. The Selection of meat was Supurb. On Weekends they come around with Prime Rib on the bone. If you ask your server they'll serve it Bone & all (YUM) On the Bufette table on the weekend they offer Cow Tounge in a Sauce. Being of German Origin I Always find it a treat.\r Good for a Couple, Or a Group. Children are always welcome. \r THat means Parents PLEASE Make sure your children behave. It's a very busy restaraunt to the Park Play Ground. Bring something to keep them busy. They'll be there a while. While you, eat, eat, eat, & enjoy.\r If you really enjoy your service you can individually tip your servers. They really work hard & can make a good experience & Vantastic Experience.\r Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.\r Lenny Waller (Bronx, NY) more

Highly Recommended 4/28/2006

I have had brazilian style before, once in NJ, very similar to here and once in brooklyn, HORRIBLE. This place is really good, a few meats werent to my liking but i promise u will find AT LEAST 1 thing that you can just eat, mine was the beef ribs, AMAZING, and i dont particularly like that usually. avoid dessert and drinks, long island iced tea 7.50. Not worth it. Just come in get a lot of meat and thats it. the all u can eat bar is good to, but ur here for the meat remember that. Bar has, french fries, bunch of different vegs and fruits, sushi, ribs (not great, wait for the waiters that come around with the meat) Pros: MEAT, MEAT , Fair price more

Don't go here! 4/14/2006

When we arrived we were greeted by a very unfortunate-looking which symbolized the very unfortunate service and food. The meats were overseasoned and the rice was stale. We had to fill ourselves with salads and french fries to feel like we actually had a 'meal'. I hate this place and I would never come back here again. Take my advice and stay away! Cons: Overpriced, Overseasoned, Overrated! more

Don't eat for 3 days before coming here 3/16/2006

The food is good along with friendly and accomendating waiters worth the price which isn't bad . But, don't be on a diet or have a colesteral problem . Pros: good food, good service, great value Cons: too much food, too much food, too much food more

meat, meat, and more meat 3/20/2005

All I can say is we ate straight for 45 minutes straight, and that did not include the desert. This was the first time I had went to Grees Field and I was blown away with all the meat, however I will not be sidetracked by the salad and side buffet next time. At least 20 different kinds of meat being paraded by your table on a regular basis. They had a great wine selection to choose from, the single mixed drinks were a little pricey. You can totally get you moneys worth if you just skip lulnch and catch a late dinner. Oh, try for the reservation... With out one, a table for 2 took about 30 minutes. more

Low Carbers Paradise 10/22/2004

If you are on a low carb plan, and even if you arent... this is the place for you. Meats galore... bountiful salad bar with many low carb choices.. hot foods (most are carb laden)...come hungry.. very hungry. more

Go here 7/11/2004

This place was terrific. I've been to Brasil more than once and it's the closest thing to it. Way better value, price and quality than other places in the city. Definitely make a trip here but don't eat for awhile before you go, you'll be stuffed! Pros: Food, Selection, Cleanliness more

One of my favorite spots 9/25/2003

Where should I begin? This restaurant is a favorite of mine. There's nothing like the combination of meats from Green Fields combined with their sangria. It's a great place to take a group of friends. It's not romantic, but I would recommend it for steady couples looking for great food. FYI... With Brazilian food, there's no menu. It's a all you can eat style service. But don't confuse it with bad buffets, the food here is top notch. Pros: Awesome food, Great for groups Cons: Not for vegeterians more

Joe Tapioca does the Green Field 4/28/2003

The Green Field is a huge ""Brazilian"" (it's owned by Koreans) Churrascaria. The decor is certainly not top class here, but the meat selection is almost overwhelming. Pace yourself, perhaps starting with some greens available at the buffet table, and then enjoy! I highly recommend the chicken hearts, but remember: ask the waiters, since they're not usually available and will be cooked upon request (and will go fast). $25 will give you as much meat as yoy can eat (and very good meat), but stay away from the overpriced drinks and desserts. more
