Green Dragon is not only the headquarters for role playing games of all types, card games of all creeds, or computer game playing in head to head fashion, but a place to go to find good people. The owners, Scott and Adrianna (forgive me if I spelled it wrong) are some of the most charming people I have ever met in my travels. Friends of all shape and sizes come in to the Green Dragon to peruse books on gaming, spiritualism, or weaponry. Stop in when you want to find a place right for what you are seeking. more

Green Dragon is RPG HQ 6/26/2009

I have memories of The Green Dragon from the days when the store was located in a house on Commander Drive. The store was good then, and it's still first class. I do wish they would oust the occult products, however, and add more D&D miniatures and Gamma World products. They still rate a big "Thumbs Up". more

Green Dragon well worth it... 2/24/2007

The Green Dragon is definitely a worthy place to hangout, look around and shop. The staff are extremely friendly people, and they have a little bit of everything that a person who games, role-plays, practices arts, etc etc, would want or need. Every time I have been in there, aside from the fact of getting lost in all the different types of things that they have, the people who spend time in there and the staff are more than happy to stop what they are doing to help you or just to chat. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is into the prior mentioned things. more

One of the most unique bookstores you'll ever find! 8/17/2006

The Green Dragon is one of those places you just have to visit to fully appreciate. They carry books on all of the topics that you'd like to know more about but just are afraid to ask: ESP, Wiccan, Comics, Magic, and everything else in that world. They have a comic collection that rivals just about anything in South Carolina, as well as lots of unique collectibles and toys. This is also the place to go for pokemon, magic, etc. Several years ago I played Magic The Gathering regularly in the game room on thursday nights. If you're a geek at heart this is your home, so make a pilgrimage! PROS: Unique, great genres, amazing comic selection, game night! CONS: nothing more

Very nice selection of gaming, occult, etc, 10/9/2005

The Green Dragon is located on Northwoods Blvd, just before you get to Northwoods Mall. They have a very large selection of items necessary for role playing games, dungeons and dragons, as well as a large selection of occult and wiccan items, tarot cards, etc. They also carry jewelry, swords, books, tapes---just a very diverse selection of things that you will not find in any other store in Charleston. The staff is friendly and competent and willing to help you with whatever you need. highly reccomended. more
