Nice place, friendly folks, good selection. While some things are spread out organizationally, it is a good sized place that has much to offer. Helpful staff, nice looking plants. Prices fair. A little out of the way, but worth checking them out. They don't sell large deliveries of bulk mulch, buy it by the bag only, so elsewhere may be what you want for that sort of thing. more

I ordered a truckload of plants thru my landscape architect from their wholesale division and found that they have very little guarentees and that the customer can not contact the wholesale division directly. So while they had a good quality product, I would go to a nursery like Green Acres in Roseville that has the same product, better customer service, more hours of operation (theirs seem limited) and is more user friendly next time. more

Matsuda's is your one stop spot for any of your nursery, gardening, or landscaping needs. Another adavantage of Matsuda's is their ability to get any exotic plants or trees that you desire. The staff is very knowledgable in their field and know exactly what they are talking about and provide advice that you can trust and follow. The prices at Matsuda's may be a bit on the high side but you also need to realize that their products are top quality and you get what you pay for. You may be able to go ahead and get a similar tree at the big box stores but what is the guarentee that the tree will only last one autumn. The nursery is in a great location with plenty of parking and a large parking lot so you can take your truck and load it up with supplies, plants and trees. This is a local nursery that has existed in the Sacramento for many years and has withstood all of its competition for a reason. Give them a try. more

I have always been impressed with the quality of the plants here at Matsuda's. You won't see any problems with the plants at all - no pests or diseases. We always try to go here first if we need anything for our garden. The staff is very nice and knowledgeable. They will even answer any gardening questions that you have and they will try to help with with problems in your garden. more
