Food is good but very slow service. Took 20 mins to get a drink order. However the food is made to order so you'll wait a little bit more

Out of the 120 or so reviews I've made over the last year or so, I've never written one like this.\r \r I REALLY like The Greek Joint. Their gyros are unquestionably the best I've had, Moussaka I can't even describe, and Spanakopita just outstanding. It takes a lot to get on my "Favorites" list. Their food deserves it.\r \r The Greek Joint's business has grown tremendously. The growth is understable, as per above. So much that they were having trouble keeping up with deliveries. They have fixed that challenge (thank you Greek Joint).. more

Me and my girlfriend stumbled upon this little hole in the wall about a month ago. And needless to say we have been back 4 times since. The service is fast and the wait staff is very polite. There is a very large menu, something for everyone. We have had many different things but the gyros are amazing! The price is right an makes for a great meal when in the mood fr Greek. more

I don't usually re-review so quickly, but I just had to have another one of their incredible gyros. This time the gyro was just as good as before (the best I've ever had) and the Baklava I ordered was nothing short of INCREDIBLE. Be sure to order it if they have it. They said that it goes quickly. The delivery was pretty quick. this time. Only took about 50 minutes which isn't bad for a restaurant that doesn't make the bulk of it's money by delivering. This place seems to be a no-lose. I look forward to trying some of their other entrees soon. more

No, it's not a movie, it was my experience with The Greek Joint!\r GREAT: The two gyros I received were cold, but still incredible. That is saying a LOT. Since delivery took almost 2 hours there was no surprise the food wasn't hot. However, it was still probably the best gyro I've ever eaten. This is coming from a guy that's eaten one heck of a lot of gyros in his time. I don't know what their secret is, but I want more. The fries, although also cold, were reheated and ended up being GREAT. Strange for fries.\r \r GOOD: Saganaki. Same as always, as expected. Walnut cake was also good. Order it.\r \r UGLY: Delivery was about an hour later than expected. From phone call to my door took about 2 hours total. I'll try their delivery one more time and let you know in a re-review. more

I forgive them for trying to pull a fast one on me one time because the food is so darn good and reasonably priced. I always get the double gyro or double souvlaki platter - what a great deal. Food is fresh and authentic. Restaurant is clean. Thus I forgive them when one time a lady there thought we were tourists and told us there is ONLY dinner pricing, when I had just eaten there the day BEFORE and paid for al most half the price! Haven't seen that liar since; hopefully she's gone. more

I am really sorry for the girl that did not find the Greek Joint because is just great. I order from them in a daily basic and no complains so far.....the Gyro is just delicious and everything is very fresh.....to get there follow the Young Circle and get off on Harrison Street going towards Dixie Hwy....pass by Ramada Hotel, next block (before you reach Dixie on your right hand side). if you get lost just ask for the Ramada and they will guide you....or ask for the new place Jimmy just opened....who doesn't know in downtown Hollywood Jimmy from SAS? more

One word: YUMMMMM! Awesome souvlaki and moussaka! Not as greasy as some of the other places and always fresh... Staff is nice and friendly. And I like the fact that they have outdoor seating - nice to sit outside and people watch. more

I lived in Greece for short time a few years ago and I have not tasted proper Greek food since then...... until Now! I'm not sure why the other reviewer can't find it...it's right across from Sage on Harrison Street. more

We drove specifically to try this place as we are big fans of Greek food. We walked up and down the sidewalk and there was no sign of it. We asked other local shop front owners and none of them had heard of it. It may be moving in May, but for now, I stand by my review: It does not exist. more

It was delivery and pick up only out of Sas Martini Lounge, it will be relocating to 2003 Harrison St. by the beginning of May 2010. I also think that people should try the place out before they say they didn't like it. Thinking that it's closed confirms they didn't try it. more

Our office is in downtown Hollywood, we must order from the Greek Joint 3 to 4 times a week. The food is outstanding. They have so many selections to pick from. My favorite is the Andy Sub. Try it, just unreal. So good. everything is always fresh. The staff is the best. more
