Every time I go there I end up worth BAD diarreaH!

Delicious, reasonably-priced food 8/26/2008

Great food and service. Casual family atmosphere. Clean and spacious restaurant with nondescript decor. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. We had the combination platter for two (approx. $8) and it came with a generous helping of gyro meat, feta cheese, and three other types of foods I can't put a name to. We also had the moussaka (approx. $8 a la carte, or $12 with 2 sides), which was fabulous! more

The Greek Islands 4/16/2006

The Greek Islands is an Omaha favorite for many people. The great Greek food keeps everyone coming back. Their Greek salad has kalamata olives and wonderful feta cheese topped with their homemade dressing and is one of the most popular items at the restaurant. Their gyros are terrific and have a tangy homemade sauce that is the best I've had. The pita bread is warm, fresh and has just the right amount of chewiness. Be sure and try their mousakka served with Greek potatoes. Lunch is very busy but the staff is speedy, friendly and efficient. more

Fast Lunch 9/27/2005

This is a great place to go if you want a quick lunch. My friend and I were in and out in less than a half hour. I had a Gyros and she had a Gyros salad, both were very good. They do bring a basket of rolls to your table. Prices are very reasonable here as well. They do offer baked goods. more
