Greater Pittsburgh Distribution

Our Center is the first of its kind in both the region and the country.


Our center is designed specifically to support other Non-Profits small construction and individuals to build capacity in their communities, by providing building materials and other needed supplies.


Since we opened our doors on November 5, 2009 we have distributed new and surplus product valued at more than 2 million dollars.


Our partner are charged a small handling fee for products received.


All revenue received from handling fees is used to support the Distribution center.


OUR MISSION:


The Greater Pittsburgh Distribution Center is a building and resource center for agencies in need of quality building materials and products.


Our mission is to help to preserve the environment by utilizing resources that would end up in land fields.


We believe:


That Partnering with our non-profits and churches will help to build healthy community.


We believe that we can teach our partners how to eliminate waste, how to build solutions to many community problems who lack financial resources.

We believe by educating community partner to use current resource we will be able to provide more services and products at a fraction of a cost.


We believe this will allow us to leverage more products from a multitude of sources. That can be used to serve the poor.


GPDC desire is to ensure that all volunteer’s gifts and talents are utilized in all areas of the warehouse as we strive to help those in needs.
