We're members of the San Diego Zoological Society, and in her will my girlfriend is giving her half of the estate to them, after a generous trust fund for our pets of course. With that much invested in another zoo, I was prepared to be disappointed by this one, but was pleasantly surprised by how reasonable the enclosures are. Nothing like the Safari Park, but not bad at all for a zoo. more

Great Zoo and well established... 5/20/2010

This Zoo is solid. Been going for years. Not the biggest fan of large animals in cages/pools but I'll hit the zoo for the kids and it's always a good time. It's hot on the ""hill"" so dress appropriately and make sure you buy your ticket's online ahead of time.\r \r Pros: Wide variety of animals, reptiles and more Cons: buy ticket's online first! Avoid the lines! more
