Outstanding 2/12/2014

Great Western Flooring really delivered us superb service. I was so impressed that they installed hardwood flooring for almost every room in my home in just one day. They did such a beautiful job too. It was for my kitchen, dining area, entry, and hallway. John and Steve were very professional, helpful, and knowledgeable. They're very informative when it comes to what they are doing. The prices were good and I'm overall very pleased. I'm definitely planning to call them again to complete two more bedrooms. more

Our new carpeting makes the basement! 1/16/2014

We recently remodeled our basement and we used Great Western Flooring. We bought our house already built and the builder recommended them for the ceramic in our kitchen and bath. When we decided to do the basement, we went down there and they were so helpful. They had samples in the colors we needed and they even let us take them home. We were sort of under the gun to finish the project quickly and they were able to get us what we needed fast. They were so accommodating in helping us get the exact style we wanted. The installation went well. Our new carpet really makes the entire basement! more

Great Western Flooring came through for us again, with great service. 1/14/2014

We have used Great Western Flooring in the past with always helpful sales associates, great product selection and good installation. We decided to replace some carpet before Thanksgiving with only a four week window from our decision to needed installation and they came through for us! And we love the carpet we chose, guided by our sales person to get a 15 ft. carpet width to avoided worrying about seams. Thank you to the Great Western team. more

Pretty wonderful experience 1/9/2014

Great Western Flooring completely redid all of the hardwood flooring in our condo. They came out and showed us samples and were there the whole was through until we got everything rectified. They also did the two bathrooms' flooring and wall work. I like that they were always available and educated when they were talking about the product. From the time that I started talking with them, it was a great experience. more

Excellent and outstanding service! 12/20/2013

I was very pleased with Great Western Flooring. I had dealt with them before when I wanted blinds for the windows in my front room. They did an excellent job and came in a timely fashion. Since I was pleased with the work they did, this past summer when I wanted some work done on some windows I was waiting for I decided to go with them again. I went into the store and was given a great deal, help and advice. They had the treatments delivered and installed in a timely fashion. I would highly recommend them! They were very professional. They were here when they said they would be, so I didn't have to wait around. more

Easy, hassle-free, and responsive 12/12/2013

Great Western Flooring has done multiple projects for our new house. They refinished floors before we moved in. Put in new carpet and also did an entire bathroom in tile and heated floors. Then we came back and they redid our floors in different hardwood, got some carpet in other places, and did another bathroom. Biggest reason we keep coming back is the lady, Tracy, that works in our local store is really great at helping us pick stuff out. She knows what we like and helps us design things for the house. She's our go-to person and one of the biggest reasons we keep coming back. It's been easy do everything we want--installation, help with design--it's all hassle-free and they've also been very responsive when there were issues like something came out wrong or needed to be fixed. Always good with resolutions to any problem. more

Very good overall experience and i would use them again 11/18/2013

Great Western Flooring did the tilework, back splash in the kitchen, and carpeting for the entire home. The customer service was fine but we did have one issue with the installation of the custom tile in the fireplace that took a few months to complete. That part took longer than we hoped for. Good products and service. 11/8/2013

My history with Great Western Flooring as been okay. One exception was that I called the salesperson at least two weeks ago to see if someone would come out because I've got some grain that is splitting on the floor. She called back and said she had turned it over to someone to take care of it, but I have not heard from them. They put in the hardwood floor in our home. The installation went fine. Their customer service has been fine as well. They had come out one other time and looked at a squeak I had in the floor. They corrected it on or two boards, but couldn't correct all of them. So there's one board that's still kind of annoying and can't be fixed. I think they're a good company. I'm not totally sold on the product yet, but I haven't had it for a full year. I believe it is a new product that they're selling. I wouldn't at this point recommend it, but it has been marginally okay so far. more

On time. Quick service. Beautiful flooring! 10/31/2013

Our experience with Great Western Flooring was very nice. They put wood floors in the entire lower level of our home. My wife went to the store in Naperville, where they set a date for the installation. They said they would be here at 9am, and they arrived exactly on time. The installers did a great job. They moved furniture for us and worked really quickly. They were in and out so fast; you couldn't even tell flooring had been done in our home! The project took a day and a half to complete, and it came out beautifully. We couldn't have been more pleased with the service. more

Very creative and accommodating people 10/29/2013

Great Western Flooring did three things for me. They did a custom backsplash, put carpeting in the lower part of my house, and they made a custom rug that's in the kitchen. Everything was done to perfect and didn't go over the price. The people they sent to the job were polite, great, did everything as expected, and their personalities were great. Nothing ever goes as planned but they did everything to accommodate me as a customer. They really know their product and are price-sensitive. more

Our niece recommended Great Western Flooring when we wanted our carpeting removed to get to the floors underneath. We had seen and liked the floors that Great Western did for her, so we went ahead and gave them a call. The men who work there are really great. They moved all of our furniture to the garage and den to keep it safe. They explained exactly what they were doing the whole time. We love our flooring now and can't wait to finish it all up with some rugs! more

FANTASTIC. Did a lot of work and were very pleasant. 10/9/2013

Great Western Flooring put tile in our bathroom, engineered flooring in the upstairs area, carpeting going from the first level to the upstairs, and more carpeting from the main level to the basement. They also refinished the floor in our front living room and installed a border. It was a lot of work! Great Western's service and quality were EXCELLENT. I have no complaints about any of it. They were wonderful to work with. We had major flooding and a lot of delays in the restoration. We could not have anticipated or expected these delays, and they were very congenial about working around whatever it was to complete the project. That was the biggest thing to me. more

Our floors look brand new. 10/8/2013

Great Western Flooring refinished the wood floors in our kitchen and dining room. It was fantastic quality at a reasonable price. One of our neighbors walked in to look at it and thought we'd put in entirely new flooring. That's how great it looks. more

Great Western = GREAT JOB! 12/17/2010

Great Western just replaced the carpeting in my entire upstairs and also refinished all of my hardwood in the first floor. I am SO happy with everything that they did. We made great selections in the store with the designers' help and the installers were excellent! I will be going back there for my master bathroom remodeling project after the holidays are over. I cannot be more excited to get this project completed by a company who I know that I can trust! more
