Great Wazu

They don't call it The "Great" Wazu for nothing. I've been going here for sandwiches for 15+ years and have only one complaint. It's not close enough to where I live, (but it's well worth the drive). The staff is freindly and courteous, the ingredients are top quality and always fresh. It always looks spotless and with the new art gallery look it provides a pleasant "dine in" experience. Hands down one of the best sandwiche shops in North Jersey. Here's to another 15 years Wazu, keep up the good work! more

AWSOME FOOD & CLEAN!!! Featuring Boarshead cold cuts you just can't get a sandwich that isn't fantastic! As you might imagine, being an art gallery as well, the atmosphere is in a class all it's own. Probably the cleanest sandwich shop I've ever been in. The sandwiches are 8" long, heavy, and cost around 6.50 on average. Compare the prices and what you get there with any place and you'll always come back to The Great Wazu. Go to The Great Wazu in East Hanover or Parsippany because they will never dissapoint more

My advise to all is to be careful of this place. I not reviewing this business based one experience. I have been to the East Hanover Wazu for years and I went to the other location before it caught on fire. The main complaint is the food quality, I have had food poisoning three times in a course of the years I have going. Recently I have ordered a sub with light mayo and few hours later I felt viral. The following day I wasn't able to hold anything down. I know for a fact this place of business was the root cause because I had the same effect few times prior. I asked around at work and wanted to see if someone else had the same experience and the answer was yes. The corporate company I work for has stopped ordering food because of many complaints of illness. This is the reason why I am writing a review to allow everyone to be skeptical of the food you are eating. Second complaint is based on how they treat people waiting on line. Personally have witnessed horrible communication to people who are just a little ... of this place. I not reviewing this business based one experience. Their subs are freshly made right in front of you and packed full on the inside. I usually get the turkey sub which has so much delicious turkey flavor on the inside and lots of other toppings. My friend on the otherhand, tried the veggie burger and was very pleased also. It is a busy place during lunch and very nice to eat at. more
