Great Wall Restaurant

The Great Wall Restaurant is one of my favorite places to eat. It has been around for more than 15 years, so that in itself says a lot. It is hidden behind Taco Bell, but is one of the hidden treasures of Lafayette. The food is great and the atmosphere is even better. The wait staff is friendly and nice and if you go there enough they remember you. They also have secret korean food menu that they sometimes provide if you ask. They also have a great lunch menu with a lot of offer for around $6. Thier dishes have no MSG yet still remain to be very tasty. Also if you like to make alterations to a food item they are more than happy to do that. My favorite dishes are the Kong Pau Chicken with Broccoli (I ask for them to put the Broccoli in), the orange chicken is also a delight and the teriyaki halibut is also great! Thier prices are very reasonable. They take reservations even if it is an hour before you want to be seated which is also good to make sure you beat the crowd! By the way I am asian also and eat a lot of asian food too! more

Great Wall is ok. Of course i am asian so i eaten lots of good asian food and lots bad asian food. I would consider this place not very good. But consider it is in Lafayette it is ok. The price is affordable. I would reccomend someone to go there if they want to eat chinese food but dont want to drive to oakland or any other place. more
