Contrary to what others have posted about this place, I had a great experience. I asked the office about the bad reviews and apparently there is a new Doctor in this office since November 12' that has really turned things around. My visit was excellent, from the receptionist, hygienist, to the actual Dentist. They offer free parking and it's a very convenient location. Their hours are also very flexible with some days opening at 7a. The best part about this service is that I was told only what I needed and not asked to get unnecessary services. I will definitely return there in 6 months. more

The personnel's only interest is how to charge you more for "unecessary services" that will absorb all your insurance coverage before they start working on the real issues with your mouth (only to realize that now you have to pay out of pocket for what you went there in the begining). Would Highly Not Recommend 2/10/2011

The only reason why I go here for now is so that I can get my crown redone for free because it only lasted 1.5 years. I can not stand this office. It is so difficult to actually get anything done. Whenever you call you have to go through the corporate office to get patched into the office. I am highly suspicious of what they do here. After I get my crown redone, I'm definitely leaving this place! more

WARNING: Very Dirty and Exaggerates Diagnosis 9/15/2010

This place is unbelievably dirty and they DO try to overcharge you for unnecessary dental work (I know this because I decided to get a 2nd opinion from one of Atlanta's best and most expensive dentists who is not on my insurance; he told me they were out of their minds regarding the work I needed). The dentist chair was rickety and stained, tools on the table were old (some even with rust on them), someone's dirty dentures were sitting on the table next to where I was told to place my purse, the x-ray cloak was also dirty with makeup stains and who knows what else, and the x-ray equipment was historic. My first instinct was that I could possibly catch a disease simply by being in the chair! Since it is very easy to contract diseases and infections orally, I was further concerned about the tools they were using in my mouth. In retrospect, I should have followed my immediate instincts and left. I understand that some insurance companies like Cigna will refer you here BUT this does n more

Save yourself the frustration!!! Don't go to the Tucker office 9/14/2010

This is regarding the Office in Tucker Georgia on Hugh Howell Road. This is the most unprofessional bunch of people I have ever met. The place is dirty, the staff is extremely rude. They will Lie to you..and tell you that you need things done that aren't necessary.. I made the mistake of finding this office from my Insurance companies website.. After going there and getting full X-rays done and a ridiculous quote for work that I didn't need done..... I ran out of that office so fast it would make your head spin.. So I contacted the office again, months later, trying to obtain a copy of my X-rays, which they would not give me without a battle. They hung up on me several times when I called.... I eventually called the corporate office multiples times just to get a copy of my X-rays.. Even after multiple calls, I was assured that my X-rays had been mailed to my new dentist office.. Great Expressions, Tucker, GA 8/26/2010

Zero stars. The office in Tucker on Hugh Howell is where both my husband and I were totally ripped off and charged over $1,000 each for what we used to get at our dentist in NJ free.\r They say their twice a year cleaning is only a polish from the gum up and the hygienist did all of the diagnosing. They told me my x-rays were covered and they were not. Yesterday they refused to clean my teeth for my semi-annual visit because I needed periodontal scaling or my teeth were going to fall out. Six months ago nothing was said about this crisis.\r Total, total, scam, can't believe my husband and I went back but we had to make sure our suspicions were correct. Now we are out over $2,000 and I didn't even get my teeth cleaned. more

Disappointed...in the reviews not Great Expressions! 1/27/2010

Let me start out by saying how disappointed I am. NOT in the Great Expressions dental office, but in the people writing these reviews. I read the reviews here, so I went in very leery and with a somewhat defensive attitude. \r \r However, I was glad to find that the reviews were almost 100% wrong! All of the staff were, nice, patient, and professional, yet friendly. They explained everything they were doing and went over the costs. The doctor was also very nice, yet serious. He showed me everything he was discussing on the x-rays, so I could see exactly what he meant and explained what I need and why. No one in the office was condescending in the least!\r \r To address some of the particulars from the erroneous reviews:\r \r 1. They don't honor contracted insurance rates: I gave them my insurance dental benefit schedule and all the charges they included in my treatment plan match exactly. NEVER RECOMMEND/TRY 8/3/2009

Never use them from any of their office. First, the office is very dirty with any disgusting thing you can imagine. Second, they cheated on prices and treatment plan. They asked me to pay over $2000 and then suddenly halt my service by asking $200 more to continue due to their mistakes on submitting claims to my insurance. Third, the dentist is not professional at all. I suffered many complications after simply service. Have to see dentist 4 times in 1 week. Painful and wasting time. Fourth, customer service is very rude. Always disconnect phone calls if they don't want to talk to you. NEVER EVER USE THEM. They do not follow Insurance contracts 1/15/2009

This dental office is all about the $$. This dental office has a contract with Cigna to offer services at set rates to Cigna participants. I had to cancel my appoitment today because they wanted to charge double the contracted rate for the crown. Also the lobby is very cold and sterile. The office makes you feel very uncomfortable. The Dr was nice on the initial visit. Explained things, however his appearce was a little unkept. He looked like the mad scientest. I've moved my primary to another office. Unethical, Please Avoid 8/15/2008

RUN!!! This Dental group is unprofessional and unethical. These people have lied to me and my husband. They said that we had several dental conditions that were going to end up costing us over $2000 each! Upon getting a second opinion from a real dentist, turns out we just needed a deeper cleaning costing only $150. Also, the dental hygeinist is the one who 'diagnosed' our conditions before the dentist even saw us, which turns out, is illegal.
