Great Expressions Dental Care

Great dentist but this place will rip you off blind. They will put products in your hand without explanation as though it is part of your routine care and you will see the extra charge on your bill. They take too many X-rays and pressure you to buy expensive electronic toothbrushes and extra services you don't need without verifying they have your permission. The last straw is the $355 extra treatment they coerced my husband into beyond the basic cleaning, without verifying insurance coverage. We will not be back!!! Instead we will try to find a private dentist again as chains are money hungry. I almost feel bad for the employees. Be very aware, ask lot s of questions and say NO! Don't be passive. Wow, I have no idea if these bad reviews are even for this same office. I had one of the best expierences I have ever had at the dentist. The other reviews mention a female dentist, well I am not sure who that was but Dr. Goldschein is a male and assured me that he is the only dentist in this office. The whole staff right from when I first walked in the door was nice. They were clear in all that I needed from the xrays to the treatment. I was happy to see my fees for everything was VERY reasonable and was excited to get started. The cleaning with Eurika was amazing and informative. The visit with Dr. Goldschein for my fillings was quick and painless. I highly recommend this place!!!! more

It may have gotten better since 2008, but I went through expensive misdiagnosis, incompetent staff, a dirty office, drilling without numbing, and generally feeling like I was in a 3rd world country. Never again! more

I SHOULD HAVE SEEN THE SIGNS. shaun is the office manager, the Dentist is Dr. Marrero., She is hiding. Her staff would be so nervous, they would drop my new crown probably 10 times on the floor, complain about her to me as if I could do something about her. I saw people leaving telling me, "this is an awful place, leave" and I thought they must be crazy, she seems nice at first. The perio she sent me to told me, "I'll just do this extra bit for you so you know...you won't have to have HER do it" and I know what he meant. Her colleagues hate her. Her only friend is her office manager who is a fellow power monger who kisses her but. I had metabolic acidosis with Topamax, and 4 other meds and lost crowns and teeth days after leaving there, she had said they were fine and blamed me for not brushing. I over brush and floss. Avoid this place at all costs! I went here because of my insurance, but because of this bad experience (and also at other Dental Health group locations) I will be changing to a better provider. These people have bad equipment, dirty offices and they are completely unprofessional. They have made mistakes so many times with my treatment. A routine procedure will take hours because they mess up so often. You will have to sit through all of their painful blunders and reschedule many appointments because they can't do anything right. \r \r Some of what I have experienced with them includes:\r \r - Drilling done without novacaine even when telling them I was in pain. \r \r - Hygeniest spending hours on a temporary crown, including dropping it on the floor more than 5 times and having me dig under the chair for it. \r \r - Dentist drilling holes through permanent crowns and repeatedly messing up and putting on poorly fitting crowns, despite this being brought to attention. \r \r - Asked to do my own s more
