young vibe 8/14/2005

I attended this church with a friend, who is a regular member, and was very pleased with the experience. The pastor’s sermon was both heart-felt and funny, a positive message about reaching out to others but not judging or harassing non-Christians. The crowd was predominately young and Asian. Interesting detail: they had taken the inside of a drab business building and suspended stained glass windows from the ceiling. more

a younger person's church 8/13/2005

Although this church is less ornate than some places, it is a great place for the younger crowd, as most of the congregation is in their twenties. In addition, the speakers are usually about the same age, so it is much easier to relate to their sermons. The building is well-maintained and they offer refreshments after the service, as well as small groups to get involved with. more

christianity is not a belief about tearing each other down, pointing fingers, throwing rules in each others' faces. no, our religion is about experiencing god's grace and forgiveness through our saviour jesus christ. come check out an environment where people know you aren't perfect because they know they aren't perfect. they've got the same ugly problems you do, but they're learning each day that god loves them and that they want to share that love. more
