The Perfect Place! 9/15/2008

I have been a Kindergarten teacher in Fairfield for 10 years so when it came to finding a preschool for my first child, needless to say, I was very selective. I wanted a small school where my son would be safe. I wanted the teachers to be caring and thoughtful. I wanted my son to grow socially, academically, and physically. Most importantly I wanted to be a part of a community where learning was foremost and the atmosphere positive. Great Beginnings has done all of those things and more. I am confident my son will enter Kindergarten as a happy and prepared student. I would recommend this school to those of you looking an amazing early educational experience. more

A TRULY GREAT BEGINNING! 4/11/2008

Our two daughters have flourished at Great Beginnings Preschool. They both attended the preschool, and one still attends the after school program. My husband and I are very involved, and visit the school often. There are educational and fun activities constantly for the children and the families. We have been there since the school opened, and the children are taken very good care of, it is truly a great beginning for any child. more

Best Preschool in Town 3/12/2008

My children have attended this preschool. I have to tell you they attended 2 other preschool's in the area and this by far was the best experience. This facility is clean, very well run, and when you go into the school you do not see children with runny noses. The owner of this school was educated at the #1 school in the state of North Carolina for child care educators. I grew up in North Carolina and my mother attended this school, and their reputation is exceptional. We should be so proud in Connecticut to have such a great preschool. Pros: Great education, clean, friendly, warm and inviting, super staff - Great! Cons: A little more expensive then some places in town but well worth it!! more

Great Beginnings 3/7/2008

This pre-school has very fine people running it. It is obvious they care greatly about the kids. I have had my children taken care of by them and would recommend them to anyone. more

Very Happy Family!!! 2/9/2008

Great Beginnings is just what the name states - it is a great beginning for any child. I previously had my children in another facility and had to voice safety concerns daily. Now that my children are at Great Beginnings I can go to work worry free and feel confident that my children are being cared for by competent, loving, and caring staff with very little turnover. The environment is clean, bright and cheerful. In addition to the daily care of your child, there are many activities available all the time for children and family. The director and owner Melanie bases her business decisions on what is best for the children as any childcare facility should. My children love all the teachers and most days I have to drag them out because they are having so much fun! Go see Great Beginnings - its wonderful!! more

Very Happy Parent! 2/7/2008

My two children have attended this preschool for over 3 years attending preschool and their after school program - We love it! My children have blossomed, having them at this preschool is almost as good as taking care of them myself. They are well educated, the facility is clean, they have fun and the staff is incredible. I know that they had a problem with a disgruntled employee in the last couple of months and fear that the last comment is from them. Please go see the school and hopefully you will be as happy as me and my family have been. I tell everyone I know how much I love it. more

Best Preschool in town! 7/13/2007

Safe, secure, clean and the most amazing staff. They really care about each and every child . I always feel like my needs and concerns are top priority. My child has truly blossomed at Great Beginnings. I loved the mixed aged classes and the small teacher to student ratio , it's the best ratio in the area. The teachers are alwasys excited and ready to start each day with a smile. I love that they take a few minutes with me everyday to talk about the day and share litlte things that happened so that I can feel apart of their day while I'm at work. I would recommend this school to any parent that really wants their child to grow into a healthy ,independent well adjusted child. Pros: Clean, safe, attentive, easy access, hours(730-530) extra activites like Yoga and Tennis more
