Great American Movers

I heard about Great American Movers from friends who had hired this company to move their business (based on word-of-mouth referral as well!) This was the best move I've ever had! The packers were very thorough and professional, carefully packing up an entire household of fine furniture and breakables. Everything arrived at my new home in another state in perfect condition! I trusted this company knowing that the owner has been in business for more than 30 years, which says a lot in this economy. I highly recommend Great American Movers - they are the best! more

I own a baby grand piano, so when I move I have to hire a moving company. I was so satisfied with the service I received the first time I used Great American Movers, I hired them the next time I moved. The movers were polite and considerate. They seemed to understand moving was a stressful time in anyone's life. The second time I hired them, I had them pack all of my stuff. When I was unpacking, I couldn't believe what a great job they did and how careful they were with my belongings. It's so hard to let strangers into you home and have them touch all of your things, but I felt really safe and comfortable with them. I didn't have any damage during either move. I would definitely hire them again. I have referred them to all my friends who were moving. Pros: polite, careful, considerate and understanding Cons: not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for more
