We’ve rented RVs/motorhomes from Great Alaskan Holidays four times in the last eight years. We were always pleased with our experience. The online rental process is easy and well thought out. Their customer service can’t be beat. They make it easy to enjoy the last frontier of Alaska.\r \r Our first trip with them was the first time we had driven a RV. Their orientation and attention to details gave us the confidence we needed to operate the motorhome safety, to know to use each option and how to use the supplies on board. Their customer focus made that trip and every trip since great. \r \r Their RVs have always been ready when they say and are very clean and reliable. We have never had a problem with any of them. The campers we’ve rented have always been that years’ model. The supplies they include and the options are just what you need to enjoy Alaska without worry. I would recommend GAH to anyone considering a trip to Alaska. We’re even considering a fifth RV trip with them in 2014.\r more

My experiences with Great Alaskan Holidays have always been first rate. I have rented from them on three occasions and have no complaints. Pick-up at the airport was done in a very expeditious manner by a friendly and informative driver who provided fishing advice. Check-in was painless and the required video is informative and offers great tips, even seeing it for the third time it served as a great reminder as to some of the features of the mobile home as well as driving tips. Drop off on all three occasions has been a good experience with no surprises. The mobile home was clean and well-stocked with bedding and cooking equipment. I plan to travel to Alaska for many more fishing vacations and I will always rent from Great Alaskan Holidays. more

GAH - An Awesome Way To Travel Alaska 10/16/2013

Great Alaskan Holidays offer an excellent selection of new or nearly new motorhomes with many different size selections for your Alaskan trip. Their facility is excellent and upon arrival you are scheduled for orientation, finish your paper work and you are on your way to wherever the road leads you.\r The freedom and relaxation you feel when driving the motorhome is uncomparable.\r Upon returning home we have always had our $500 deposit within one week's time or less. These people are very organized and prompt.\r We have rented from GAH 4 times and will be returning a 5th time in the Fall of 2014.\r Inquire about their Iowa to Alaska program where they allow you to "deliver" a new motorhome to them from the factory where the Winnebago is built in the Spring of each year. It is a wonderful trip. more

Wow - GAH is super. They have been the main reason that we have done 7 trips to Alaska in the last few years. Each person we spoke with on the phone or important had one goal...to assure that our vacation would be the best ever. Well, they have succeeded and that is why we are returning in August, 2014 for another wonderful month in the Great Land. GAH provides us with clean and safe transportation and has made each trip better that the last. Thanks to all of them, dsf more

Great Alaskan Holidays RV rental 9/16/2011

We booked with Great Alaskan Holidays in Feb.2011 for an Aug. holiday. The unit was great and people very friendly. We just saw a special they were offering for 50% off if booked immediately. We booked for 2012 thinking we'd get the 50% off. When we started looking at our contract, we noticed Great Alaskan's daily rate, at over $500 a day for a 31 ft. RV. Their 50% off was still more than we paid for our previous rental with no discounts. I believe their advertising is VERY misleading. Renter beware! Sad because we really enjoyed our holiday and were looking forward to renting from them again. more
