I was in Bloomington for a conference and ended up at Grazie for dinner the first night.. I loved it so much that I brought 15 people back to it on the 2nd night. Everyone loved it. The food was fabulous, service great. Couldn't ask for a better dinner and location. more

Great steaks, good service. I had to wait for a table but learned they take reservations. Definitely worth the wait since they have a beautiful lounge. And you can't beat outdoor dining! A little pricey, but what isn't nowadays! more

I ate at Grazie! this past weekend while visiting my son at IU. I was immediately impressed at the decor. I felt like I had stepped into a big city, not Bloomington, Indiana. There was a short wait for our table but the hostess was friendly and directed us to the bar /lounge area where we had a fantastic martini while we waited. We ordered the prawns stuffed with prawns which were out of this world! Dinner was great as well, with sufficient portions, especially when you have complimentary salad and bread. Whatever you do, don't forget about dessert. Service was great and polite and people there actually seemed to care that i was there, which was refreshing. I will definitely be back more

We saw the beautiful neon sign for Grazie lit up and instantly decided this is where we were eating tonight. We were not disappointed. The food was really good and we wish they would open an local Italian restaurant like this near Michigan State. I had the chicken parmesean and my wife had a mushroom tortellini dish. We both liked what we had. We were also given salad and bread with our entree, which was a nice touch. So many places now charge extra for a salad. While we were there, the restaurant was not crowded but if school is in session, I would probably make a reservation. The restaurant is in a restored downtown building and does have a second floor loft seating area but is not an extremely large place. They also have a few outdoor tables if the weather is nice. Parking is a little bit of an issue as there are only a few public spots out in front of the restaurant and this restaurant is located on the courthouse square. There is no valet but there are several parking garages located near the courthouse square. We had dinner for two, with drinks, but no dessert for about $50 without tip. more

Great Italian food, wonderful service everytime. I never leave unsatisfied. You might want to call ahead for reservations on the weekends or go through open table (one of only two restaurants in Bloomington that use that awesome website). Menu changes seasonally but they always keep the classics. Love it. more

Our daughter goes to IU so every time we go we try a different restaurant. So far this is the favorite! We had a group of 8 ranging in ages 20 thru 70 and everyone was raving. The food was delicious and you could tell the ingredients were very fresh, perfectly seasoned and we felt transported to old Italy! If you like Italian, this is the best you will find! more

After a 10 mile hike in Morgan Monroe State Forest we were looking for a comfortable dining spot to relax on a Sunday night. It was the 4th of July and to our surprise Grazie was one of the few restaurants near IU that were open. It was fairly crowded (50% off bottles of wine on Sundays seemed to help!) The food was good. We had an appetizer and main course. A salad is included with the main course so I recommend skipping any appetizers. My son's choice of chicken pesto was probably the best of our 3 meals. more

Terrific Italian eatery located in prime Bloomington downtown location. Food was top notch, not your typical Americanized Italian-style fare. Each dish stood out because of unique spices, described well by our waitress. Highly recommend the scampi. This will be a must stop restaurant for me every time I visit more

I recommend Grazie for that first time date and special occasions. Imagine a relatively short online courtship and that first date, that first occasion of face to face intimacy. The menu was the deciding factor to provide for the delicious variety of fine dining, generous portions, multi-course appetizers, salads, entrees, desserts, wines, coffees… We benefitted from a quiet Tuesday night, low lights, quiet ambiance, and our purpose proved romantic. Blessing our togetherness and toasting our favorite wines and special occasion was the beginning of a two hour, relaxing, meal, and romantic sensation. Our server John was very attentive and recognized the special occasion. Hold hands coming and going to Grazie, relax, snuggle shoulder to sho more
