I dealt with Christine McAlister's horrible agency until I realized that she treats her customers like an ATM. I paid my premiums and could NEVER get her on the phone.
I tried to call her because I was not being the discount I was supposed to be, according to Allstate themselves. I spoke with one person, who said she was out. I asked for a call back that never came. A couple of weeks later, called in again, another new person (she went through staff about every 3 weeks a few years ago). I could never get her on the phone, trying 9 weeks in a row. This is preposterous.
I am genuinely offended that she calls herself a Christian after the way she treated me. When I told her assistant that if I did not receive a call back from Christine herself within 24 hours, I was going to not only cancel my policy, but contact Allstate and file a complaint with them, I got a nasty letter saying she no longer wanted to do business with me.
Come 6 months later, after I'm sure hemorrhaging clients left and right for treating them terribly, I got a letter begging me to come back. Never going to happen, with Christine McAlister, OR with Allstate, who did nothing and continues to do nothing about this horrible mistreatment of good paying customers.
If you have insurance needs, I highly recommend staying AWAY from Allstate and Christine. I am with Farmer's now, and have been far happier with not only the coverage, but the fact that if I have a problem my AGENT calls me back within 2 hours. 2 HOURS!! Not 3 months. That's what we're paying for: service. That's what you won't be getting from Christine.
And no, I do NOT work for a competing company or agency. I am an individual who just doesn't want someone else being mistreated as I was.
