I ordered a porterhouse at the bar, rare, and it came overcooked. I asked for another steak. After more than 20 minutes, and after my friend was done eating, a steak arrived and someone named Nick presented it to me saying ""Here is your very, very, very, very rare steak"", which was correct because it came raw and cold on the inside, and pale and greasy on the outside. I wrapped it to take home so I could cook it myself. By now, we were ready to leave anyway. When my wrapped steak was delivered, again, Nick felt the need to repeat himself in saying ""Here is your very, very, very, very rare steak"". I have over 22 years experience in foodservice, including foodservice director, and food safety inspector, and a foodservice based masters degree. I feel qualified to judge if a steak is cooked as I ordered it. I felt the comments were obnoxious, which I would have ignored and not bothered with this review, if at least the steak was cooked properly, and not purposefully presented inedibly. Also, the ratatouille tasted like it should have been discarded last week. I got a stomach ache, as did my friend, who also ate the ratatouille. There are many decent restaurants in Morristown, this is just not one of them. While the Grasshopper packs 'em in, every place has it's hay day so they should take care of their customers or they will be another of the many empty storefronts in Morristown. I would not recommend or go back.
Cons: obnoxious service, terrible food
