This bookstore which caters primarily to university student has all the things you need to buy for your entire 4 year college classes. However, the things are quite pricey. They sell plenty of gifts, greeting cards and souvenirs too. Check out the small cafe counter at the entrance. The coffee is good! more

This bookstore isn't the worst, they have some pretty decent deals, and they even surf the net looking for textbooks for cheap on there too to make sure they can offer the best prices for their books. I do think their buybacks are not the best option, so if you want to sell your book back, sell it online and get more of your $ back. more

This is "THE" bookstore to go if you are a University of Wisconsin Madison college student. If your in class and need to find out what textbooks are required, chances are that you will find answers to your questions right here. This store is so fun to look around in. They have some unusual selections that aren't commonly found at other bookstores. The basement has the text books for university students. I remember spending hundreds and hundreds of dollars there and the crowds were amazing! There is a parking ramp close by but no immediate area parking. more

The University Bookstore offers a large selection of high quality merchandise. The staff is friendly, and sometimes you can find a good deal. However, you pay for the quality...many common items that you find in this store are substantially cheaper at other stores. As far as textbooks go, the University Bookstore probably has the largest selection of books, but shop around--you might find a better deal elsewhere. Look out for huge lines during the first week of classes each semester. more

Located on the UW campus "mall" area close to the Union and State Street. The bookstore is divided into 3 sections.\r \r Section 1: text books - found in the basement. Its warehouse style and you fend for yourself. Look for the "maps" on the ends of the bookcases to navigate to your area. This place gets crazy right before and at the start of classes - so go as early as you can (also, the earlier you go the more likely you can buy used texts if available - which are so much cheaper than new ones). They buy books back at the end of the semester, but hardly give you anything. Try selling your books online or to another bookstore - you'll get more back.\r \r Section 2: school supplies, Clinqiue cosmetic counter, Greek knick-knacks, art supplies, calendars, posters, t-shirts etc. Things tend to be more expensive here, so you're better off hitting up an office supply store and other places instead.\r \r Section 3: a bookstore - carries all the regular bookstore books.
