Late for delivery. They forgot the salads and the bread and butter. I got the ribs which were ok at best, and the hubby got the chicken vesuvio which he said was bland. I didn't really like the fries either. The only thing that tasted good were the hot dogs that I ordered for my girls. more

Time to change 4/19/2011

Delivery is very good. The restaurant is uncomfortable and front staff are jam packed behind the counter. Unfortunately, they are usually confused. Grand Stand if you want to compete with others, you need a Makeover. more

The best pizza in the area 10/1/2009

The pizza here is absolutely excellent. Pick up is usually very quick. I have not tried delivery, as I live just a few blocks away from this place. The pizza crust is award winning - I usually get the thin crust and it is always crispy. more

This is a menu we always come back to. Thin pizza is awesome - and I like extra sauce, yet the bottom is still crispy on a Grand Stand pizza. We have done Panzerotti and sandwiches from Grand Stand, and they are great. Haven't had bad food yet! And they always deliver timely. A+++++++++ more

Best pizza I ever had EVER!!!! 3/14/2008

Grand Stand has THE BEST PIZZA ANYWHERE!!!!! Not to mention they have the nicest people who work there. They always make sure the customers are happy. They will make anything you want. Even if it isn't on the MENU. I recently moved out of there delivery zone. I still order from Grand Stand it is worth the few minutes drive to come pick it up. It stays hot and delicious. Some nights my family dines in thats very nice to. I really recommend Grand Stand everything is always fresh and I know they make everything homemade. I give them all my stars. Double thumbs up guys. more

Been a customer since day 1 5/24/2007

Honestly, been a customer of G.S. since the first day they opened and in their 20+ years, only once or twice had I needed a situation corrected and they did, with a smile and pleasantness unmatched. Their food is of consistent quality, the flavor never waivers, nor does their service. Due to being around so long, and having such a steady clientele, at times, delivery can be a little slow, but the food still arrives piping hot!If you are not from the neighborhood, this is one place worth going out of your way for. Especially their new stuffed pizza! WOW! more

Nothing special about this pizza 3/30/2007

Grand Stand Pizza is not so grand. I have lived in Chicago all my life and in various areas from downtown, to the west side, to Elmwood Park, to Northwest burbs and I've had my share of great pizza. Grand Stand does not come close. Compared to fantastic pizzas like Rannalli's, Countryside in Des Plaines, Armand's or Spizzico's in Elmwood Park, Nino's in Buffalo Grove, Amato's on Harlem and others, Grand Stand doesn't come close. It is average at best. It seems to be popular in this area (I work 5min. away and we order it often for work parties), but I don't know why. The crust tastes paper-like, the sauce is weak and the cheese is not good quality. I have to give it a 4 out of 10, and that's being nice. Pros: decent prices Cons: not the highest quality ingredients more

Really good pizza 10/4/2005

This is definitely one of the better pizza places in the area. Pizza is excellent. The only downside is that when they say an hour for delivery, it usually is at least an hour, if not more, especially on weekends. If there's a problem with the order, they are quick to fix it. PROS: good pizza, quick to fix problems CONS: delivery sometimes slow more
