Everyone knows cancelation fees are intended to mitigate cost overruns so that a schedule can be kept full to maximize its profits. But, when a client calls to cancel an appointment after finding out the business is out of network coverage, and this business elects to charge a cancelation fee for their own neglectful business practices is simply a matter of poor ethics in one final attempt to get your final dollar. Had this business provided accurate information on the front end stating their services are not covered in network then my appointment never would have been scheduled from the beginning. Even after attempting to reason with the location manager their black and white policy was flashed in my face without even allowing me to finish my sentence. If this is how you choose to run your practice, then I strongly suggest you pay close attention to the power of spoken word. Your neglectful ethics prove that you are a business that puts profits and dollars over people and ethics. I will be sure to spread word that Graham Family Dental is not a business that values people.
