I love, love, love Grace's chicken katsu plate lunch. Why? Crispy-fried boneless chicken breast cutlets that have been marinated so they're juicy and flavorful. The slightly tangy/spicy sauce (ask for an extra one when you get your plate). The so, so yummy chow fun noodles under the katsu. The practically perfect macaroni salad. Okay, sure, the kim-chee doesn't have much Korean-style fire to it, but it's cold crunchiness is a nice foil to the hot rice, noodles and chicken. So much food, it's usually good for 2 meals (for lighter appetites) and for one very satisfying meal for a very hungry person. I live in L.A. now, but everytime I go back to Hawaii, one of the first things I do after I land is go to Grace's to get my fix.
Pros: best chicken katsu! friendly, fast service. lots of food for the money
Cons: only available in Honolulu
