Grace Stonerock MD

I've been going to Dr. Stonerock for several years. I don't like to go to any medical doctor, but I do respect Dr. S. and am glad her office is close to me. I don't really like sitting in a waiting room for an hour, but I only remember one doctor that insisted seeing patients within 10 minutes of arrival (early 1990s). She is efficient and thorough, yet quick. She has to be, as every other doctor has to be these days. She's personable and makes going to a physician painless for someone who doesn't care to go. I have no problems with her. She has been very helpful with various problems I have had and has worked with my other doctor to help me get my health back in shape. The billing office has always been really polite to me and they've worked with me if I've had problems. I just have never had anywhere near the kinds of experiences that the two earlier negatives reviews on here state. They must have been having really bad days at the office those days, but I don't believe it it typical of Dr. Stonerock's office at all. I've never written a doctor review, but I don't want people to be chased away from a good doctor by a few negative reviews. more

Been going to her for 5 years. She listens to what I have to say, seems to be current in medical practice and gives good, useable advice. more

I went to Dr. Stonerock in order to see a nurse practitioner working with her. I sat in the exam room for one hour prior to being seen by Dr. Stonerock, at which time she rushed in saw me for 5 minutes, and rushed out. She did not listen to anything I tried to tell her and rather attempted to give advice and diagnoses based on her assumptions and a few notes in my medical history. I left very frustrated feeling very invalidated as if I was nothing but a tally mark on her patient count. It was a very unpleasant and disrespectful experience. If I was not seeing the nurse practitioner, there is no chance I would ever go back. more

Dr. Stonerock used to be my doctor before she opened a new practice! I wish she were closer, she was patient, kind, thorough, never made me feel rushed... asked me questions and actually listened to me! Have not found a dr. like her since! angie more

May be a competent doctor but I was given unnecessary tests for a minor problem on my first visit. When I received the bill and called the office for information about what they had tested for and why I was told "...what do you care, you insurance pays for it..." more
