Good for a Beer & Bite to eat 3/20/2006

GB is a good place to go to after work for a beer & bite to eat. The ambience is nice though it is a loud and you wll have to yell to be heard. The beer there is good and the food there is also good and they have good portion sizes.. GB has a wide selection of beers to choose fom and a good variety of bar foods. A pint of beer will run you around $6 and appitizers and salads are between $5-9, burgers around $7-10, and entrees around $12-17. Overall I would say it's a good place to stop by and grab a beer and bite to eat, but nothing special to write home about. Pros: Portions, Variety of Beer, Food Selection Cons: Slow Service, Loud Dining more

Fantastic 12/29/2002

GB's in Pasadena CA has great atmosphere and most of all a ""GREAT"" selection of their micro brews, comparable to some of Europe's best. The food menu also has a variety of items to choose from, make sure and order the garlic fries for an appetizer or when your just hanging out enjoying their great tasting beer. I love the beer, but the food is not very good. Their garlic fries are not as flavorful as one might think, maybe I am just too big a garlic lover. Our pasta was bland and our burger was weird tasting. Pros: Good Beer Cons: Bad Food more
