We arrive Monday at 10 in the morning just for the classes and slept in Los Angeles. We arrive dead at cove and was very hard but your blessing I help us. Very many thanks for your food and your hospitality. A greeting of all more

We LOVE Gorda Springs 12/5/2010

My boyfriend and I were looking for a relaxing getaway from the city and found Gorda Springs. This quaint town in Big Sur had exactly what we were looking for a much more. The view from our cabin (and pretty much any other location at Gorda) was spectacular. There is also a nearby hiking trail called Salmon Creek with a huge waterfall that we really enjoyed. The couple meals that we had at the restaurant were very delicious and the staff were so welcoming and friendly, we didn't want to leave :) We promise to be back soon! more

I definitely recommend this place! 11/3/2010

I stayed here the first time I went to Big Sur. I was on a little getaway with my boyfriend at the time and this place suited us very well. When we first walked in I was extremely excited that there was no TV. in the room just a big fireplace. Very romantic. After we got settled in, we decided to go on a little hiking adventure. We crossed the road to this "trail" that we thought led down to the oceans shore. We ended up in a potentially dangerous situation as we were clinging on to plants for dear life on a very steep incline. After an exhausting trek, we decided to go back to the cabin to drink some beers and enjoy the roaring fireplace. In the morning we were greeted by spectacular views and crisp ocean air and much to my boyfriends delight, they have llamas and goats to play with right by the cabin. So cute. I definitely recommend this place! more
