We went today for the lunch buffet, and spent half of our time waiting for them to put pizzas out - there were literally none for about 10 minutes. Seems like whoever was managing the lunch shift today did a rotten job, or maybe it was the staff last night who failed to prepare the buffet pizzas in advance, not sure how that's all supposed to work. I think the place has changed ownership since it opened a couple of years ago. We've been patrons since the beginning, and all of the familiar faces staff-wise are gone. While the food is still good, one manager in particular (maybe the only one??) is very very rude (he was there today, so maybe he was behind the pizza shortage??). We went for dinner awhile back with some friends for their first experience at Goomba's. The friend's wife had a special request that her pizza not be brown on top, just a personal preference. They took forever to even bring the pizza out, and it was golden browned on top. When the waitress asked the manager about it and let him know the guest wasn't happy with the pizza, instead of approaching our table to discreetly discuss it, he yelled across the dining room ""what, you want it raw???"", causing a scene. Needless to say, those friends will never go back and neither will any of their other friends. We still go because we enjoy the food, but if we have another experience like we had today, we'll find a different location and hopefully a better managed one!
