Goodwill

This goodwill sucks to be honest. The older cashier (not manager) is a b*%&#@, especially if you have kids. She is clearly very irritated to be working there at all and acts like she's doing you a favor to ring anything up. She will overcharge you and when you point it out get huffy to have to correct it. Everything is ridiculously overpriced anyway! (This is a thrift store, seriously). The goodwill in Cary is cheaper (how is that even possible?). You can buy nice, new stuff on clearance/sale at kohl's for almost the same price. I've been here about 5 times because the location is convenient but I won't be going back, it's really a waste of time. more

My family just moved to the area. My husband is a seminary studet so we typically go the consignment route on clothes. This Goodwill has a great selection of clothes for all members of your family. If you look hard enough you may even find something BRAND NEW! The clothes are organized very well and the store is overall pretty clean. The employees are friendly and helpful.\r The shoe selection is a little limited and I am not familiar with the housewares, but if you are looking for a great place to find used or even new clothing, this is the place!\r One word of advice, however: this store only accepts cash payments or in-state checks! So stop by the the ATM before you go in. If you need, there is an ATM within walking distance right in the parking lot. Pros: Cheap clthing, some name brands, some brand new Cons: Cash only or in-state checks more
