Goodwill of Delaware 3/9/2006

Newark's Goodwill store, which recently relocated from a storefront on Main Street to a much larger store in a strip mall near Rita's and the cinema, always seems to have some unusual treasures for bargain hunters. The original store was quite cramped, but the new store seems to be larger, much better lit, and better staffed. The employees are very friendly whether you are donating or purchasing. A ton of parking is available because it's in a strip mall now. more

One of Newark's only great stores 10/19/2005

For anybody living in Newark, you know there are very few exciting things going on. Most of the stores are run by the University of Delaware so there is little to shop for. Goodwill is the only place you can shop for almost anything such as clothes, books, cd's, old records, even furniture, lamps, tv's etc. Now you never really know what Goodwill will be selling today but there is always something new there so it is very fun to keep looking and see what treasures you will find. more
