We were looking for a place for that great "parents night out" where the fare wasn't boring and "same ole same ole". After reading a review about this resteraunt we decided to try it. When you're on a modest budget the price is a bit high, (highest price menue item around $30) but the quality of the dishes were fantastic and the service was terrific. I had a rainbow trout breaded with pecans. It was fried delicately and to perfection and the side of veggies was tasty and perfectly cooked, not too mushy and not so crisp you feel like it's raw. The veggies also had a nice light buttery flavor and there was no puddle beneath them. For desert I had a keylime tart and it was fabulous! Good size, soft grahmcracker crust and mouth stimulating filling that was melt in your mouth. My husband was similarly pleased with his Chicken Goodhues, it had green apples and smokey bacon in a creamy sauce on top, which was a fantastic combo. For desert he had the chocolate volcano cake, which is made when you order so it is hot and fresh and OH so tasty with the chocolate filling rushing out when you pierce it with your fork. If funds were available I'd definately go back to this resteraunt.
