Just a brief note to say that Dr. Scar, the founder of Good Samaritan Counseling Center, has been our family therapist for over 15 years. He has provided a variety of counseling services including family therapy, marriage counseling and interpersonal communication coaching. We have found him to be unfailingly compassionate in showing God's love and practical in the advice that he gives on handling specific issues.
He's not one of those squishy ""What-do-YOU-think?"" kind of therapists. He'll let you know exactly what he thinks and then come up with specific action steps to address the problem. You won't spend every Tuesday afternoon for as long as your insurance will pay for it. He's about getting it done.
