This quaint garden center off the beaten tourist track of Hood River has great sandwichs. The cafe is off the garden area with limited seating. My turkey sandwich was overflowing with moist real smoked turkey breast, avocado, and harvarti. I asked to barely pass the mayo over the bread and it was perfect. The bread was an excellent artisan grain bread which melted in your mouth. This place would have gotten an excellent review except for the following most of which cannot be changed; proximity to the road can be loud at times, must get up and serve yourseld for refills on all drinks. However, food quality and friendly counter service make up for these. They also have freash baked goods which were above average. overall goood experience
Pros: excellent sandwichs
Cons: noise from the road and self serve on the drinks
