I know it was a busy time for Gonyea's Marine Services when I took my boat, but I wish they had paid more attention to detail. When I arrived to pick up the boat, part of the system was not working well and the owner quickly fixed it.
After that, one of the gauges didn't work, I also fixed the fender unit, and finally I found out that the problem was just a wire that was not hooked up to the boat. I live about 75 miles away so it wasn't like I could take my boat back to him. So, if they had paid more attention to detail this would have saved me time and money.
One of the reasons I went there was the internet reviews. It seemed to me that the owner really knows what he is doing. And, this is true. But, the bottom line is he needs more quality control on his employees who are helping with the work. This was a technical matter and they're not technical people.
Again, clients should still trust the owner because he does know what he is doing.
