The food is good for the price but the service is usually terrible. If you want a refill it'll take at least 15 minutes to get one & don't even think of asking for anything extra. The servers need to clean up. Monos has gotten soft on how his employees represent themselves. What happened to the good old days when the men wore bowties & the women wore skirts. This is the greatest restaurant in East Tennessee. And the reason is simple: every dish here is made with the loving, magical hand of Manos. The spaghetti sauce is made fresh every day. The same for the pizza dough, pizza sauce, lasagna, and countless other dishes. The menu may seem overwhelming, but take comfort in the fact that it's impossible to go wrong. Everything is fresh, especially the pizza ingredients. Don't be fooled by the prices; they're low because Manos is there up to 16 hours a day, preparing food and watching over his restaurant.
