Traded current vehicle for lower mileage used vehicle, even swap. Vehicle they got was in mint condition and they're selling it for $4000 more than the trade-in value. Vehicle I got had a dead battery (they replaced) and a conceiled cosmetic issue with the front hood. They actually used mud or colored wax to cover up the hundreds of chip marks. Only recently dicsovered this as the wax/mud started to wash off. You can only assume that this would decrease the value of the car, otherwise why go through the effort to hide it? Well, never again. And I'm going out of my way to tell everyone I know about it. Maybe next time they'll do the right thing for the right reasons.
