This place was terrible. I had a tour of the facility with the manager and while she was nice and pleasant, she was Extremely flighty. But I was here for the gym not the staff and it didn't get any better from there... The cardio floor was poorly taken care of, dirty, and old machines. The ""weights area"" was your typical Gold's Gym ""meathead"" section with plenty of grunting and yelling as I walked past and the locker room was no better. I couldn't get out of this place fast enough! I would recommend anything, even just working out, outside, before you succumb to this gross place! more

Now it's a Gold's Gym 2/26/2008

Professor's Gym sold out and someone bought a Gold's Gym franchise, and I'm really glad they did. The upgrades have been phenomenal, the weekday morning staff (Nancy and Jen) are terrific, and the price is LOW ($19.95 / month). Professor's was a quaint, out-of-the-way relic -- lots of free weights and Nautilus machines, hardly any cardio equipment. Pros: reliable, clean, friendly, inexpensive, safe, convenient hours Cons: can't think of any more
