This place isn't the worst in the area but it's certainly trying to be. Locker rooms are garbage. Equipment is ok but not up to my standards. The owner is not even anyone that somebody would want to talk to. The atmosphere isn't gym like. People don't even acknowledge each other let alone talk. Good luck finding a spotter btw. And yes, I agree with RunnerAddict. The dog is a little much not to mention a liability as is most of the equipment there. Will never go back. And yes the area is a little tight as far as gyms go but anyone who wants to work out will find one around. They should close Golds and let someone with a real knowledge of how a gym is supposed to run take it. more

Poor Service but great workout 6/2/2011

This place is great if you're looking for a variety of classes with very quality teaching. I've been a member for some time now and have really enjoyed what they offer. The service, however, is awful. The owner brings her dog in, puts it on the treadmill, picks and chooses who she is going to be friendly to and who she is going to make problems for. I love working out but not sure if it's worth the attitude from the owner. Unfortunately, Gold's is the ONLY gym Lewisburg has. There needs to be another. stat. more
